Laborer

The pay for this position is $25 per hour AP&T is seeking a motivated and dependable laborer to join our team in Haines, Alaska. This is a seasonal position for the remainder of 2026, with the potential to open in the spring of 2027. This position will provide a variety of support to the line crew on the power side. Compensation/ Benefits for Full-Time Employment: Starting pay: $25.00/hour (DOE) Generous benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) $5,000 annual medical travel reimbursement Up to $125 annual medevac insurance reimbursement Employee stock ownership options $200.00 in company logowear Ongoing employee appreciation and recognition Job Duties and Responsibilities: As a laborer, this position will assist with a variety of hands-on tasks including: Brush cutting and weed trimming Oil changes and basic mechanical maintenance Supporting powerplant operations Other duties as assigned by the crew lead This is a manual labor role that requires strong work ethic and a willingness to take on diverse tasks Required Qualifications: Candidate Qualifications Required: High School Diploma or GED Must be 18 years of age or older Valid driver's license and ability to be insured by AP&T 1 year mechanical or electrical experience preferred Ability to lift up to 70 pounds Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug test Basic computer skills The pay for this position is $25 per hour Recognition of our employees is important to AP&T's values.
