Laborer Apprentice 1

SUMMARY

Mortenson is currently seeking a Laborer Apprentice.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Load and unload equipment
• Inventory organization
• Maintain and perform minor mechanical service and repairs
• Track assets and manage order fulfillment and staging
• Perform general cleanup and debris removal, including sweeping, cleaning, washing, and loading
• Work effectively and build relationships with diverse backgrounds and organizational levels
• Perform all other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Enrolled in Apprentice Aptitude Program
• Experience in construction preferred
• Ability to work with tools and equipment, such as power and non-powered hand tools, vibrators, pumps, drills and jackhammers, forklifts, skid loaders, and power buggies
• Strong teamwork orientation; positive attitude and professional customer service skills; detail oriented; active listening skills and effective communication, including an openness to diverse input and feedback
• Repetitive hand, arm, leg movements
• Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling: up to 50 lbs.
