About the role
The Lab Technologist oversees laboratory activities at Save the Children's Health operations in Cox’s Bazar Child Hospital.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality lab services to the assigned population
- Ensure proper vaccine storage and handling
- Maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with health teams to ensure coverage of all lab services among the community
- Coordinate with other medical teams
- Support SCI health programs in the targeted community
- Engage with other humanitarian actors and local authorities
Requirements
- Experience: 2 years
- Education: diploma in medical technology (laboratory)
- Skills: laboratory technicians, laboratory management, laboratory skills, medical technologist, laboratory medicine, laboratory skills (bloodwork, diagnostics), laboratory procedures, laboratory regulations, laboratory safety, laboratory safety procedures
