Laboratory Technician - Wet Chemistry - Eurofins Drinking Water and Wastewater Southeast - Altamonte Springs, FL

About the role
The Laboratory Technician is responsible for various support tasks throughout the laboratory assigned on an as-needed basis. Sample preparation, glassware cleaning, and sample disposal are typical functions. The ideal candidate shall be a detail-oriented team-player and able to multi-task. Candidate should also have excellent communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of samples using standard techniques
- Operate pipettors, balances, and/or graduated cylinders to measure samples volumes and weights
- Prepare standards
- Maintain scientific logbooks
- Responsible for general housekeeping in work area
- Follow all Eurofins Standard Operating Procedures
Requirements
- AA, AS, or BS in science or related field
- Basic laboratory experience preferred but not required
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
- Professional working proficiency in English is required, including the ability to read, write and speak in English
Schedule
Position is full-time dayshift Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Altamonte Springs, FL are encouraged to apply.
Pay
Pay range: $17-18/hr
