About the Role

The Laboratory Technician is responsible for various support tasks throughout the laboratory assigned on an as-needed basis. Sample preparation, glassware cleaning, and sample disposal are typical functions. The ideal candidate shall be a detail-oriented team-player and able to multi-task, with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of samples using standard techniques
• Operate pipettors, balances, and/or graduated cylinders to measure sample volumes and weights
• Prepare standards
• Maintain scientific logbooks
• Responsible for general housekeeping in work area
• Follow all Eurofins Standard Operating Procedures

Requirements

• AA, AS, or BS in science or related field
• Basic laboratory experience (preferred but not required)
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
• Professional working proficiency in English, including the ability to read, write, and speak in English
• Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Altamonte Springs, FL are encouraged to apply

Schedule

Full-time dayshift, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with overtime as needed.

Pay

Pay range: $17–18/hour. The actual base salary may vary based on relevant experience, skill set, base salary of internal peers, business sector, and geographic location.
