A Day in the Life
As a Full-Time Laboratory Technician based in our Denver, CO Laboratory, you’ll step into the lab where every detail matters. You'll play a key role in prepping and handling samples, keeping records accurate, and maintaining a clean laboratory to support on-time results everyday. You’ll collaborate with a strong team of committed professionals, contribute to meaningful scientific work, and grow your expertise in a dynamic, quality-driven environment.
Compensation and Benefits
The compensation range for this role is $22.00 to $25.00, commensurate with experience, skills, and geographic location. Schedule: 11am – 7 pm Monday thru Friday. Training will be Monday thru Friday 9am-5pm.
Responsibilities
- Performing analysis and review of samples for pH and Electrical Conductivity
- Analyze and review data
- Calibrate, maintain and repair instrument
- Prepare standards as needed
- Maintain reagents, supplies, and order replacements
- Keep workstation clean and organized
- Reviews of QA/QC criteria for batch acceptance
- Adheres to Standard Operating Procedures and follow safe work practices
- Participates in instruments' preventative maintenance and trouble shooting
- Be flexible in work schedule including overtime when needed
- React to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned
- Performing other duties and responsibilities as prescribed by the Company
- Compliance with Enthalpy's Quality Assurance Program and other policies
Qualifications
- BA/BS in science
- 0 - 2 years of environmental testing or analytical instrumentation experience
- Attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and a desire to work both as part of a team and independently
- Proficiency using analytical equipment including: balances, pipettes, bottle top dispensers, and volumetric/graduated glassware.
- Experience with analytical instrumentation is a plus
- Knowledge of analytical methods, analytical instruments, general lab practices and lab safety is a plus
- Flexible in work schedule (including Saturday) and able to work overtime
- Well organized and have an attention to detail
- Able to multi-task
- Able to work independently and make sound decisions
