Job Summary

Under limited supervision, conducts in-process and finished product testing to determine adherence to established specifications of quality and purity.

Essential Job Functions

  • Conduct laboratory tests and analyze data for a variety of purposes, such as production, quality control, and minor research.
  • Test and analyze products such as flour, feed and wheat products to determine if product meets plant specifications prior to release.
  • Release within specification vessels and report out of specification vessels.
  • Document results of tests, readings, etc. in Total Lab Client (TLC).
  • Complete Certificates of Analyses.
  • Prepare chemical solutions for use in the lab.
  • Maintain and calibrate lab equipment and related field instrumentation.
  • Maintains awareness and adheres to all FDA, GMP, TTB, USP, EPA, OSHA, and employer standards and guidelines.
  • Support and comply with all food safety, quality, and legality requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

About the Role

This is a salaried, non-exempt level position. Second shift (3pm - 11pm)

Pay Range

The pay range for this position is expected to be between: $32,500.00 - $59,000.00
