About the role

Exagen is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our dynamic team. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of innovative diagnostic tests for autoimmune diseases.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize diagnostic assays for autoimmune diseases
  • Conduct research to improve test accuracy and reliability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches
  • Write and review technical documentation for new products
  • Stay current with industry trends and regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Immunology, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in diagnostic assay development
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with molecular biology techniques and laboratory equipment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of immunological principles and techniques
  • Experience with PCR, ELISA, and other diagnostic assays
  • Understanding of quality control and validation processes

Skills

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
