About the role
This position will provide technical assistance and perform experiments in Dr. Eickelberg and Dr. Bueno’s lab projects related to the role of immune cells in lung chronic rejection after transplantation.
Responsibilities
- Handles and processes mouse and human tissue for experimental purposes
- Day-to-day lab maintenance
- Inventory management and recordkeeping
- Benchtop microbiological techniques including ELISA, western blot, qPCR
- Physical Effort: Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time
Requirements
- Minimum Education Level Required: Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum Years of Experience Required: No experience required
- Combination of education and relevant experience will be considered in lieu of education and/or experience requirement
Qualifications
- Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time
Skills
- Technical proficiency in handling and processing tissue samples
- Experience with ELISA, western blot, and qPCR techniques
- Strong organizational skills for inventory management and recordkeeping
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
