About the role

This is a 4+ month contract position (with possible extension) located in Markham, ON (CA07-CA). There are 4 openings available.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for post-silicon lab activities related to performance and power characterization, optimization, and validation of pre-production CPU/GPU products.
• Setup power and performance measurement platforms.
• Execute power and performance test plans.
• Support lab debug activities.

Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics/Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• 8-10 years of relevant work experience.
• Good understanding of PC system architecture, operating systems, drivers, ACPI, and BIOS.
• Performance/Power/Thermal related lab work experience is an asset.
• Strong analytical/problem-solving skills and pronounced attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Pay

$40 to $50 per hour on T4.
