Laboratory Technician – Buffalo, NY
Job Summary
Under limited supervision, conducts in-process and finished product testing to determine adherence to established specifications of quality and purity.
Essential Job Functions
- Carry out laboratory tests and analyze data for various purposes, including production, quality control, and minor research.
- Test and analyze products such as flour, feed, and wheat products to ensure they meet plant specifications before release.
- Release vessels that meet specifications and report vessels that do not meet specifications.
- Document test results, readings, and other relevant information in Total Lab Client (TLC).
- Complete Certificates of Analyses.
- Prepare chemical solutions for use in the lab.
- Maintain and calibrate lab equipment and related field instrumentation.
- Maintain awareness and adhere to all FDA, GMP, TTB, USP, EPA, OSHA, and employer standards and guidelines.
- Support and comply with all food safety, quality, and legality requirements.

- Demonstrate math skills to perform calculations associated with lab testing.
- Able to maintain good attendance and coordinate with co-workers.
Other Duties As Assigned
Supports and complies with all food safety, quality, and legality requirements.
Pay Range
$32,500.00 - $59,000.00
