LABORATORY TECHNICIAN, BS-Biochemistry - Lau Lab

About the role

The Nelson Lau lab in the Dept of Biochemistry at the Boston University School of Medicine is looking for a candidate with a bachelor's degree. Prior genetics, molecular biology or biochemistry experience preferred. Genomics and deep sequencing experience will also be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work on NIH grant support investigations into how transposons mobilize and become expressed in model organism cells, like Drosophila, mouse and mosquito cells.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in life science required.
• Previous lab experience preferred.

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training and internal pay comparison.
