Laboratory Technician

Qualifications

• Basic math knowledge and application is required.
• 3 to 6 month’s relevant experience in a clinical or industrial lab setting.

Responsibilities

• Labor Tech is responsible for producing lab scale pilots of prepared and dehydrated media and sterilizing biohazard wastes.
• Accurately and consistently prepares plated and tubed media pilots as well as stocked media for testing by laboratory personnel.
• This testing involves the precise weighing of individual ingredients, physical preparation of materials as well as in-process checks (pH, autoclaving and dispensing into final form).
