Job Summary
The Lab Technician I will support research, development, and quality assurance initiatives in the Consumer Products Lab. The role requires strong physical mobility, excellent observation skills, and adaptability.
What's the Job?
- Prepare materials and organize setups for product testing
- Aid in laboratory experiments through testing and evaluation of new materials and products based on research
- Conduct mechanical performance tests for research, development, or quality control purposes
- Perform visual observations and testing on competitor product samples and communicate results to appropriate stakeholders
- Carry out hands-on testing using multiple pieces of laboratory equipment
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or equivalent; open to candidates with a Bachelor's or Associate degree
- Ability to work 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday
- Capacity to lift and carry at least 25 pounds and perform high-repetition lifting of 5-pound weights
- Proficient hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Willingness to use ladders or step stools to work from elevated surfaces
