Laboratory Technician

About the role

The Laboratory Technician at Evolution Research Group (ERG) supports the execution of clinical trials by performing various administrative and technical duties under the supervision of the Site Director or designee.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, confidential files and documentation of study participants.
• Assist with clinical assessments including phlebotomy, vital sign measurements, and ECGs.
• Collect demographic, medical, and medication histories.
• Complete safety assessments and collaborate with team members.
• Enter and respond to queries for data entry in multiple Electronic Data Capture platforms.
• Work towards meeting defined goals set by site leadership.
• Comply with ERG's standard operating procedures and relevant regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a medical setting or training/certification as a Medical Assistant/CNA.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements, GCP, and ICH guidelines.
• Ability to adapt behavior to achieve desired outcomes.
• Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Excellent communication skills (interpersonal, written, verbal).
• Basic computer skills including Word, Excel, and proprietary applications used in clinical research.
