Job Summary

Responsible for performing a variety of laboratory procedures under the supervision of a licensed medical technologist. Duties include specimen collection, processing, and analysis. Maintains accurate records and ensures compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Collects and processes clinical specimens according to established protocols
  • Performs routine and specialized laboratory tests using automated equipment and manual techniques
  • Monitors and maintains laboratory equipment and supplies
  • Documents results accurately and prepares reports
  • Maintains a clean and organized work environment

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, or related field
  • Current certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or equivalent
  • Experience in a clinical laboratory setting preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Basic computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office

Qualifications

  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if required to travel)

  • Proficient in laboratory instrumentation and techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities

Pay

$25.50 per hour

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
