Laboratory Technician

Pay: $20/hr

Location: Sherburne County, MN

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM CST + occasional Saturday (approximately 1 half-day Saturday/month)

Onsite: 5 days/week

Responsibilities

• Manage laboratory samples and document retention systems.
• Prepare, grind, label, weigh, and scan samples using NIR equipment.
• Support forage sample analysis and daily processing activities.
• Maintain clean, organized laboratory work areas.
• Follow all safety procedures and laboratory protocols.
• Use Microsoft Office 365 and related systems.
• Communicate effectively and prioritize multiple tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of relevant experience.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Microsoft Office 365 proficiency.

Additional Requirements

• Leather shoes required in the laboratory.
• Contact lenses are not permitted in the lab.
• Regular exposure to common food allergens, including milk, peanuts, eggs, tree nuts, soy, gluten, fish, and shellfish.
• Clean-shaven appearance may be required for respirator use.
• Background check, drug test, and respiratory questionnaire required.
