Key Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory tests and calculate results across specialties.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment; troubleshoot basic issues.
- Prepare and evaluate reagents and media according to established protocols.
- Carry out quality control checks and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Conduct routine testing and instrument maintenance and support assay validations.
- Verify test results using established techniques and principles.
- Maintain quality assurance and safety programs to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Use laboratory information systems to report results accurately.
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintain accurate documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a closely related scientific field.
- 0–1 year of relevant laboratory experience; strong analytical and communication skills.
- Willingness to train on day shift and commit to one year on 3rd shift.
- Demonstrated adaptability, teamwork, and eagerness to learn.
Pay
- Base rate: $23/hr
- Up to $25.50/hr on weekdays with shift differential
- Up to $27/hr on Saturdays and Sundays
