Laboratory Specimen Processor - PRN - 2nd Shift

Role Overview: The specimen processor supports diagnostic testing operations by handling laboratory specimens, communicating with clients, and performing data entry tasks. Key Responsibilities Serve as a liaison between the laboratory, clients, and patients.Prepare, triage, label, and accurately identify specimens.Pack, ship, and store specimens as needed.Address customer requests via phone, email, and messaging.Review test forms for accuracy and report discrepancies. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or GED required.Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.Pass a standardized color blindness test.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in MS Office and data entry.Experience in a medical or clinical laboratory environment is preferred.
