Responsibilities

• Open and verify check shipper sample types and ensure empty
• Complete specimen receipt logs
• Specimen receipt and forward problem samples/orders to exception handling
• Identify issues (ordering, labeling, specimen)
• Aliquoting of samples
• Shipping to other referral labs
• Data entry

Requirements

• Associate Degree or Phlebotomy Certification with High School Diploma
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills
• Typing proficiency, including 10-key
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a biological science or certification in a medical program technologist program (bonus)
• 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing (bonus)
• Data entry experience in a laboratory production environment (bonus)

Schedule

• Shift 1: 6:00am - 2:30pm, Tuesday - Saturday
• Full time: 40 scheduled weekly hours
• 1st shift
