About the Role
The Clinical Laboratory Supervisor for Specimen Collection and Processing oversees daily phlebotomy and specimen processing operations in a high-volume, community-focused laboratory.
Responsibilities
- Supervise staffing, workflow, and quality assurance in specimen collection and processing.
- Provide leadership to coordinators and staff, ensuring compliance with CAP, CLIA, and safety standards.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate team members; maintain SOPs and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Manage equipment, supplies, and communication between departments to support efficient workflow.
- Assist in hiring, onboarding, and resolving operational issues.
- Serve as a resource on specimen collection best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s preferred.
- Supervisory experience and proficiency with word processing and spreadsheets.
- Experience as a medical technologist or related field preferred; ASCP certification desirable.

Pay
