POSITION SUMMARY

Plans, coordinates, and supervises the functions of the assigned section(s) including testing, training, monitoring supplies, and relating with department administration and physicians.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum Education: B.S. in Science or Associates degree in Science with minimum 3 years clinical laboratory experience.
• Minimum Experience: At least 2 years’ experience in MT position in an accredited clinical laboratory.
• Required Registration/License/Certification: Completion of Nationally Accredited Clinical Laboratory Science Program. Holds MLS (ASCP), MT (AMT), MT (ASCP) or MLT (ASCP), or equivalent, or obtains within 6 months of hire.
• Preferred Education: B.S. in Medical Technology.
• Preferred Experience: At least 3 years’ experience in a supervisory position.
