Laboratory Representative | Full-time | Days

Responsibilities

• Loading specimens onto automated systems
• Troubleshooting alarms
• Accepting and prioritizing specimen drop-offs
• Answering calls with excellent customer service
• Managing follow-up lists
• Preparing specimens for reference labs
• Working across multiple lab locations as needed

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• Certification in medical assisting or related field (preferred)
• Strong communication, computer data entry, and specimen handling skills
• Ability to prioritize, organize workflow, and make sound decisions
• Detail-oriented and capable of handling stressful situations professionally
• Less than one year healthcare experience (required)
• Phlebotomy and specimen processing experience (preferred)
• Familiarity with Laboratory Information Systems (preferred)

This role involves patient registration and specimen management, contributing directly to quality patient care and laboratory efficiency.
