About the role
Join our laboratory team through a two-year traineeship program that includes assistance with obtaining a Certificate III in Laboratory Skills. You'll work in air-conditioned labs, evaluating the quality and content of sugar in cane and other factory products.
- Juice Chemist – Primarily responsible for conducting juice analysis for cane payment to the farmers. This role involves working a continuous shift roster, including weekends.
- Day Analyst – Primarily responsible for analysis, including payment fibres, factory products such as bagasse and mud, and other required testing. This role involves a day work roster, with additional Sunday overtime where required.
- Control Chemist – Primarily responsible for analysing factory products to support optimisation and process control, including entering data into Databank. This role involves working a continuous shift roster, including weekends.

Seasonal earnings include super and depend on the role, allowances, overtime, and other factors.
