About the role
We are seeking an Experienced Pathology Lab Manager to oversee laboratory operations, ensuring accurate, efficient, and compliant testing.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor staff
- Manage workflows
- Maintain quality control
- Ensure regulatory compliance (CLIA, CAP, OSHA, HIPAA)
- Review test results
- Manage inventory
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Handle administrative duties such as reporting, budgeting, and collaborating with clinical teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Clinical Laboratory Science or related field, with 3-5 years of management experience in pathology or clinical labs
- Certification (e.g., ASCP) and LIS/EMR proficiency are preferred
