Laboratory Manager - Full-Time

Role Overview: The Medical Laboratory Manager oversees the entire clinical laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining high-quality testing services. Key Responsibilities Manage daily laboratory activities across various specialties, including Hematology, Chemistry, Microbiology, and Blood Bank.Develop and supervise quality control and assurance programs to ensure accurate and reliable test results.Lead staff hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions, promoting a cohesive and efficient team.Oversee financial management, including budgeting, monitoring variances, and ensuring proper billing and coding procedures.Ensure laboratory safety, regulatory compliance, and accreditation standards are met through policy development and inspections.Coordinate with regional specialists and participate in developing new procedures and techniques. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in medical technology, biological, chemical sciences, or related field; Master’s preferred.Valid Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license and certification from recognized agencies (e.g., ASCP).Minimum of five years’ clinical laboratory experience, with at least one year in a leadership role.Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to interpret and implement complex regulations. The role demands a detail-oriented leader capable of managing technical operations, personnel, quality assurance, and financial aspects to deliver exceptional laboratory services supporting patient care.
