Laboratory Manager

Overview

We're looking for an experienced supervisor to keep our lab running smoothly — someone who's equally comfortable managing a team, staying on top of compliance, and rolling up their sleeves when needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operation of the microbiology laboratory as part of the Department of Pathology and Clinical Medicine.
• Responsible for the quality of testing, equipment, supplies, financial management, schedules and personnel management.
• Evaluates new procedures, equipment, and products.
• Makes appropriate workflow changes to enhance laboratory performance.
• Maintains staff – attendance, training, safety compliance.
• Schedules and organizes daily operations of the laboratory.
• Aids with document control processes.

Qualifications

• Must be qualified as a medical technologist pursuant to the provisions of section 58-1.5(b) of the Subpart and has at least six years of pertinent clinical laboratory experience subsequent to qualifying of which at least 2 years spent in microbiology laboratory.

Pay

Pay Range: USD $123,000.00 - USD $150,000.00 /Yr.
