About the Role
Hudson Lab Automation is seeking a full-time Laboratory Equipment Technician to perform liquid handler head repairs and rebuilds, as well as build service spare part kits.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate liquid handler head refurbishment program to ensure head availability meets demand.
- Rebuild and repair liquid handler heads.
- Build service spares modules.
- Test spare parts before shipment.
- Perform calibration on liquid handler heads.
- Conduct quality inspections on products and parts.
- Prepare finished products and parts for shipment.
- Pull kits from inventory.
Requirements
- Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or other related fields.
- Familiarity with assembly tools and equipment.
- Ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics.
- Knowledge of voltmeter operation and ability to test circuits.
- Ability to handle physical workload (lift 40 pounds safely and consistently).
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Sufficient visual acuity to inspect small parts, wiring, and mechanical assemblies.
- Strong teamwork skills.
