Laboratory Coordinator – Nursing

About the role

The Laboratory Coordinator manages the daily operations of the nursing skills lab and simulation center, supporting high-quality clinical education for nursing students.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates simulation activities
• Laboratory scheduling
• Equipment and supply management
• Student learning experiences across the Rhode Island College campus and nursing education facilities
• Collaborates closely with faculty to prepare learning environments, provide skills remediation, and support student success initiatives
• Maintains simulation technology
• Oversight of laboratory safety and organization
• Coordinating standardized patient experiences

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution
• Rhode Island Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Prior administrative experience
• Experience working with students
• Experience running nursing labs and simulations
• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and related experience preferred

$70,000 - $85,000 proposed starting salary
