Laboratory Coordinator I (full-time) - Dermatology

Responsibilities

  • Performs basic and routine diagnostic procedures for the isolation and identification of microbial pathogens from clinical specimens.
  • Prepares specimens and operates automated analyzers.
  • Maintains familiarity with the various testing procedures done in the laboratory.
  • Conducts or assists in special projects.
  • Evaluates new products and instrumentation.
  • Performs quality control procedures.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or combination of equivalent lab experience and education.
  • No experience required but some lab exposure preferred.
