Responsibilities

  • Responds to and solves problems related to laboratory specimen procurement, test ordering, result delivery and billing.
  • Serves as a liaison to all clients, patients, and providers in primary and secondary market areas.
  • Supports the Laboratory Outreach Program by providing support for all areas of the Laboratory, including hospital sites, pathology, SPG offices, and all Outreach Patient Service Centers as well as the mobile outreach team.
  • Documents and follows up on all patient and client-related activities, investigates and resolves work queue exceptions, and participates in Laboratory-related quality events.
  • Maintains supplies and assists in covering the appointment desk.

Qualifications

  • Completion of four years of high school required.
  • Some knowledge of medical terminology or additional courses/training required.
  • A minimum of one year related work experience required.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID-19 virus or be exempt due to medical or personal reasons.

Pay

Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience. Pay Range: USD $18.36 - USD $29.27 /Hr.
