Hourly Pay Range $19.31 - $28.00 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights Position: Laboratory Assistant IILocation: Swedish HospitalFull Time/Part Time: Part Time, 16 hoursHours: Monday-Friday, 11am-7:30pm, rotating weekends and holidays What You Will Do Provide customer support as a liaison between laboratory and providers.Specimen processing and handling according to established guidelines, protocol and procedures.Record and document specimen information in Laboratory Information System.Prepare and track specimen for transport to reference laboratories.Maintain organized records, and are HIPPA compliant.Maintain and clean laboratory equipment.Assist with inventory control and supply ordering.Adhere to all safety protocol and infection control measures, including the proper disposal of biohazardous materials.Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards, including CAP. What You Will Need Education: High school Diploma or equivalentCertification: N/AExperience: 1 year phlebotomy or laboratory experienceUnique or Preferred Skills: Strong customer service, communicate and organizational skills.
