Laboratory Assistant - HK - FT - Shift 1

Responsibilities

• Receives and processes requisitions/specimens and performs specified lab tests according to standard operating procedures.
• Responds to phone requests and enters lab test data into computer.
• Performs phlebotomy functions and various clerical tasks of routine and specialized nature utilizing knowledge.
• Cleans laboratory equipment and glassware.
• Affords assistance to technical staff by performing routine duties.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Prior medical experience preferred.
• Previous work experience strongly preferred.
