Job Summary
Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Laboratory Assistant - Clinical Laboratory for an in-office position in Templeton, CA, United States. The role offers variable shifts including 6-1430, 7-1530, 1200-2030, 1300-2130, and 2100-0700 with call required. Weekend coverage is not required.
About the Role
Must have current Epic experience. Hospital total bed count: 122. EMR system used is Cerner. Special equipment used on this unit includes Beckman Coulter DxC, Beckman DxH, Siemens CS2500, and Cephied GeneXpert. Scrubs are not provided and there is no color requirement.
Responsibilities
- Perform phlebotomy procedures
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
- Adhere to safety protocols and quality assurance standards
- Document patient information accurately in the EMR system
Requirements
- Current medical license
- Current CPR certification
- Experience with phlebotomy
- Knowledge of Cerner EMR system
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- At least 1 year of relevant experience
Skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in using laboratory equipment
