Laboratory Analyst - Technician
About the role
Washington Mills is seeking a Laboratory Analyst – Technician in Niagara Falls, NY. Responsibilities
- Perform testing on natural and synthetic minerals using physical and chemical test procedures
- Absorb and assist in sample logging
- Collaborate with production and research teams, and other team members across the Washington Mills family
- Maintain accurate and complete records of analysis, perform calibration of equipment, and maintain instruments
- Use instrumental analysis and wet chemistry methods as directed by the Laboratory Manager
- Work collaboratively in a manufacturing setting with other Laboratory team members
Requirements
- Possess an Associate’s Degree in Laboratory Science with 3-5 years’ of experience
- The ability to perform laboratory tests to produce reliable and precise data
- Well organized and detail oriented
- Able to work well independently and within a team environment
- Good math skills and basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- Ability to obtain government clearance upon hire, including U.S. citizenship and a background investigation

$48,500 to $55,000 annually
