Duties & Responsibilities

  • Set up and maintain equipment for Advanced Rock Properties testing
  • Record operating data from laboratory equipment including flow pumps, pressure transducers and gauges, scales and balances, resistivity monitors, and basic laboratory glassware
  • Work independently on projects while maintaining a team atmosphere with other technicians
  • Communicate data and results with Management and Clients in a clear manner
  • Provide project completion schedules to Management and Clients
  • Design test programs to meet Client expectations
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures for internal use by assigned technicians
  • Train assigned technicians to setup and collect data
  • Perform field duties when needed which includes segmenting, inventorying, and transporting core back to the laboratory
  • Other duties as assigned or required

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Geology or related science is preferred.
  • 1-3 years direct industry experience, 3-5 years preferred.
  • Must have experience, or have working knowledge, in core analysis measurements.
  • Must be computer literate with strong working knowledge of MS Office products.
  • Must be familiar with and able to utilize Laboratory Instruments effectively.
