Key job responsibilities
- Data Feed Integration
- Own architecture and execution of all upstream data feeds into WFE: hours of operation, DC delivery calendars, format flags, event overrides
- Build and maintain scalable integrations that eliminate manual data sourcing and reconciliation by individual planners
- Establish governed processes for data ingestion, validation, and change notification
- Store Attribute Governance
- Define and maintain the store attribute library (square footage, format type, layout) used by all Labor Engineers
- Establish a consistent source of truth with update mechanisms to ensure data currency across the team
- Scale attribute frameworks to support new store formats
- Systems Connectivity
- Partner with WMT and IT teams to establish durable connections between WFE tools and source systems (UKG Pro, SPSU, 24hr Clocks, scheduling platforms)
- Own incident triage for data-related failures, reducing ambiguity between WFE logic failures and upstream data failures
- Reduce mean time to resolution for system integration issues impacting labor standards accuracy
- Technical Tooling & Automation
- Build and maintain scalable tools that remove one-off data pulls and reconciliation work from planner workflows
- Drive high-quality process improvements and establish operational excellence best practices for data management
- Cross-Functional Alignment
- Serve as WFE's technical point of contact for WMT, Store Ops, and Finance
- Own data accuracy validation and integration roadmap without day-to-day supervision
- Represent WFE's technical position in cross-functional reviews with WMT, Finance, and Ops leadership
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

- Strong understanding of cross-functional influence and stakeholder management
- Data-driven decision making with ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments
- Strategic thinking with practical execution skills — ability to balance long-term architecture decisions with near-term delivery
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to write and defend technical narratives for leadership audiences
- Proven ability to build scalable tooling and automation to improve team efficiency
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Data Science, Business, or relevant field
