About the role

iHeartMedia is seeking a detail-oriented Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join our Labor & Employment legal department. This role supports five attorneys and one other paralegal.

Responsibilities

  • Create, update, and maintain standardized templates; prepare high volume of agreements primarily using templates
  • Ensure all documentation follows established formatting, accuracy, and version-control standards
  • Draft professional correspondence, such as letters and notices with supporting documentation; coordinate secure delivery internally and externally
  • Assist in drafting and updating high-level employment contracts
  • Work with company’s HRIS system (Workday) and contract management system to track contract lifecycles and ensure timely renewals or terminations
  • Communicate professionally with business leaders regarding contract terms and execution
  • Organize and maintain internal case files; maintain calendar and track deadlines
  • Aid in organizing and preparing responses to audits, charges, and claims from opposing parties and uploading same to government portals where applicable

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience supporting a legal department, with preference given to in-house experience and/or labor & employment experience
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree, and/or a Paralegal Certificate from an accredited program preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams required)

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience supporting a legal department, with preference given to in-house experience and/or labor & employment experience
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree, and/or a Paralegal Certificate from an accredited program preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams required)
