Labor, Employment & Higher Education Counsel (8-10 years) – Kansas City, MO
Responsibilities
- Provide advice to the firm’s business clients on employment matters
- Represent clients in employment litigation
- Research
- Write briefs
- Prepare pleadings
- Take and defend depositions
- Attend court hearings
- Draft policies
- Investigate complaints
- Advise clients
Requirements
- Active Missouri law license and be in good standing
- Strong academic credentials
- Exceptional analytical and writing abilities
- Excellent client service skills
- Outstanding interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Able to work in a collaborative environment
- A desire to appear in court
- Confident oral communication skills
Qualifications
- 8-10 years of employment law experience (in both advising and litigation roles)

Pay
The current anticipated salary range is $200,000-$255,000. Actual salary will vary and may be above or below the range.
