About the role

Permanent, fully remote Labor & Employment Attorney position representing employees and labor unions. The firm focuses exclusively on plaintiff-side cases.

Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice and guidance on labor and employment-related matters.
  • Represent clients in court, before government agencies, or in private legal matters.
  • Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
  • Conduct research and analysis of legal problems to develop case strategies.
  • Prepare and draft legal documents such as contracts, agreements, and legal briefs.
  • Negotiate settlements for legal disputes.
  • Advocate for the rights of employees and labor unions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current labor and employment laws.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to develop litigation strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.
  • Handle a high volume of cases independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Labor & Employment Attorney.
  • Licensed to practice law in California.
  • Proven experience with wage-and-hour or equivalent labor and employment litigation.
  • Exceptional research, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
  • Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Commitment to social justice and high-quality legal representation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment.
