Responsibilities

  • Advise and represent public and private employers on a wide range of employment and labor matters
  • Conduct workplace investigations and provide strategic counseling on employment-related issues
  • Develop and implement employment policies and procedures
  • Draft employment agreements and restrictive covenant agreements
  • Handle matters involving non-competes, trade secrets, and wage and hour compliance
  • Manage administrative charges and employment-related litigation (including discrimination and restrictive covenant disputes)
  • Work on multiple matters simultaneously from inception through resolution
  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to client development efforts

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) required
  • Licensed to practice law in Missouri and in good standing
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and written/oral communication abilities
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
  • Interest in long-term growth within an employment & labor practice

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive base salary (generally high-$100Ks to low-$200Ks, depending on experience)
