About the Role
ArentFox Schiff LLP is seeking a labor & employment associate to join its 2nd to 4th year class in their Los Angeles or San Francisco office. Our highly recognized labor, employment & OSHA practice is looking for a smart, self-motivated, labor & employment associate to join our fast-paced and dynamic team in support of major national companies.
Responsibilities
- Employment advice & counsel
- Drafting of policies and employment-related agreements
- Litigation, including restrictive covenants, single plaintiff claims, and class actions
Qualifications
- Strong research skills
- Strong academic record
- Excellent research, writing, analytical and advocacy skills
- Membership in good standing with the California Bar is required
Preferred Qualifications
- Traditional labor experience is a plus
Pay
The good faith base salary range for this position is a minimum of $225,000 to a maximum of $275,000 per year. The actual salary rate offered to candidates within that range will depend on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, years of relevant experience, education, applicable bar admissions, and the candidate's overall qualifications for the position as assessed by the Firm. In addition to a competitive base salary, we offer a comprehensive bonus program with opportunities for discretionary incentives that may include productivity, business development, and merit-based components, subject to applicable policies.
