What You’ll Do
- Serve as the scrub person and surgical assistant during labor and delivery procedures
- Aid the RN as an assistant circulator across various patient populations, from newborns to adults
- Provide hands-on support in both routine and emergency situations
- Cross-train as a Patient Care Technician, stepping in to deliver exceptional care when deliveries are not in progress
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program (Technical College or equivalent)
- Surgical Technologist Certification (required for graduates after 2008)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
- OB Scrub Experience Required

- A calm, focused presence and a passion for patient-centered care

- Available to work at least 12 hours every two weeks (bi-weekly minimum)
- May be asked to pick up extra shifts to cover gaps (like call-outs or shortages)
