About the role
BayCare Health Systems is seeking a Labor & Delivery RN to join the team at South Florida Baptist Hospital. This full-time position operates on the night shift, with weekend work every other weekend and on-call requirements.
Responsibilities
- Works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards
- Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
- Responsible for professional accountability and development
- Collaborates and communicates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in plan of care
- Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others
- Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse license
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- Associate's degree in Nursing
- At least 6 months RN Labor & Delivery experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- At least 1 year of RN Labor & Delivery experience
