About the role

The Labor Crew position provides assistance and supports maintenance and production activities as assigned. This role also supports Continuous Improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Assists and supports maintenance and production activities as assigned
• Supports Continuous Improvement initiatives
• Performs painting, cleaning, organizing, and hanging signs
• Operates machinery, drives forklifts, and other powered industrial trucks if applicable
• Handles hazardous waste (HazWaste)
• Completes work orders
• Communicates with supervisors and associates

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Entry-level experience

Skills

• Follows plant work rules, work instructions, safety rules, and established processes, procedures, and practices
• Maintains cleanliness of work area
• Uses tools including wire cutters, pliers, wrenches, hammer, micrometers, and computer
• Strong communication skills
• Computer literate
