Labor and Employment Counsel

An established national legal practice is seeking a Labor & Employment Counsel to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys serving as a trusted advisor to employers, managing administrative employment matters, and delivering practical, business-oriented guidance to clients across a range of industries. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely while handling sophisticated labor and employment matters in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Defend and manage employment-related administrative matters before federal, state, and local agencies
• Draft position statements, responses, and supporting submissions for EEOC, DOL, and similar agency investigations
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, client alerts, and other written work product
• Review and revise employee handbooks, policies, agreements, and workplace procedures
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and practical legal advice
• Collaborate with attorneys and legal professionals on complex employment matters and strategic initiatives

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• 6+ years of labor and employment experience
• Significant experience handling EEOC charges and other administrative agency matters
• Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage client relationships independently
• Experience advising employers on day-to-day employment issues preferred
