Labor and Delivery Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide expert, family-centered care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.
• Assess, monitor, and support patients throughout the childbirth process.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, anesthesiologists, and neonatal teams.
• Perform fetal monitoring, medication and IV administration, and assist with vaginal and cesarean births.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and postpartum care.

Qualifications and Skills

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
• Experience or knowledge in labor and delivery nursing preferred.
• Strong clinical skills in fetal monitoring, medication administration, and obstetric procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
