About the role
The Operational Support / Project Support Analyst role supports Time & Labor Management operations while assisting managers and cross-functional teams with projects, implementations, operational improvements, compliance initiatives, reporting activities, and enterprise support efforts. This role serves as a developing subject matter expert and may support multiple operational areas based on business needs.
Responsibilities
- Support managers with operational initiatives, projects, implementations, and enterprise support activities.
- Partner cross-functionally with Payroll, HR, Operations, Compliance, and system teams to support project execution and operational goals.
- Serve as a point of contact for issues related to workforce operational activities including audits, escalations, payroll support, issue resolution, and operational follow-up.
- Analyze operational processes, reporting trends, and workflows to identify risks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
- Support labor compliance reviews and operational audit activities.
- Afford support for testing, validation, implementation readiness, and deployment support for operational or system changes.
- Support enterprise process improvements, operational enhancements, and standardization initiatives.
- Create and maintain process documentation, training materials, operational procedures, reporting resources, and reference guides.
- Support reporting and data analysis efforts utilizing Excel, SAP, Power BI, ServiceNow, or related systems.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to provide project updates, operational feedback, issue tracking, and implementation support while identifying opportunities for process optimization, automation, and operational efficiency improvements.
- Conduct thorough timecard to Payroll Reconciliation including audit reviews, discrepancy resolution, and documentation updates.
- Designs, develops, and delivers comprehensive on-site training programs for HR, employees, and supervisors to ensure consistent understanding and application of time and labor processes.
Requirements
- A Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience payroll, timekeeping, finance, auditing, and/or compliance experience, or
- An Advanced Degree in a related field.
- Strong PC-based skills; Experience demonstrating intermediate skills in MS Word and Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.).
- Experience supporting operational projects, implementations, or cross-functional initiatives.
- Experience with workforce operations, payroll, labor compliance, or timekeeping processes.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with experience analyzing operational data and reporting trends.
- Excel, reporting, and process documentation experience.
- SAP, ServiceNow, Power BI, or workforce management systems experience.
- Ability to manage multiple operational priorities in a fast-paced environment.
