Responsibilities
- Check incoming label quantities and print out receiving paperwork.
- Provide production with labels as needed.
- Understand and comply with DSHEA act.
- Update all work order paperwork with label quantities given to and from production.
- Keep label control area in an organized and clean manner.
- Keep track of label inventory by doing periodic cycle counts.
- Accurate and timely recording of materials received, product produced, scrap, and excess.
- Proper use and care of equipment and materials issued to work area.
Requirements
- Must be able to understand, speak, read, and write in English to perform essential job functions.
- Working knowledge of computers.
- Detail and organizational skills.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to perform simple mathematic equations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of all units of measure.
- Understanding of relations between units of measure.
- Understanding of all plant operations and how they fit into department operations.
- Ability to move 50 lbs. from floor to 48 inches height.
Work Conditions
- Subject to normal warehouse environment, including production areas.
- Exposure to high noise levels where hearing protection may be required.
- Exposure to atmospheric conditions such as fumes, odors, powders, dust, and other particles.
- Subject to forklift traffic conditions.
- Required to wear Safety PPE, including but not limited to safety vest and hard hat.
Salary is dependent upon experience and internal and external salary conditions.
