Lab Technician - Urgent Need (Oniste)

About the role

Routine laboratory maintenance, propagating bacterial cultures, preparation of general laboratory duties such as preparing media and reagents, labeling plates and tubes, and re-stocking supplies.

Maintains adequate inventory control of media and reagents as required for laboratory operations. Assists in the qualification and validation of equipment and lab instruments including calibration.

Maintains laboratory notebooks and ensures all documentation is performed under GDP guidelines. Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• BS degree in Microbiology/Biological Sciences/Chemistry with related science experience
• 1-2 years of laboratory experience

• Knowledge of laboratory procedures and safety protocols
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and attention to detail skills
